My Perfect Parties – Terms and Conditions (Picnic Table Hire)

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before booking. By paying your booking fee, you are confirming that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

My Perfect Parties reserves the right to update or amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.

Booking & Payments

A £25 non-refundable booking fee is required at the time of booking to secure your event date.
-
If the booking fee is not received within 24 hours, the requested date will be released and made available to other customers.
-
The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 14 days before the event date.
-
Partial payments do not secure a booking.
-
Failure to pay the remaining balance by the due date may result in cancellation, and the booking fee and any payments made will be forfeited.
-
If the final balance is not received on time, the booking will be cancelled automatically.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
-
All cancellations or changes must be made in writing via email to:

If you cancel 14 days or more before the event, the booking fee remains non-refundable, but you will be offered:

A rescheduled date (subject to availability), or
-
A voucher credit valid for 12 months.

If you cancel within 14 days of the event, no refunds will be issued.

If full payment has already been made, a gift voucher will be issued in place of a refund.

No cash refunds will be given.
-
Gift vouchers and credits are non-transferable.

If a suitable alternative date cannot be agreed, the booking fee will be forfeited.

Adverse Weather Policy
In the event of severe or unsafe weather conditions, including but not limited to flooding, snow, ice, or conditions that make it unsafe to travel or set up, we reserve the right to postpone the event. In such circumstances, you will be offered a rescheduled date or a gift voucher valid for 12 months. No cash refunds will be offered for cancellations or postponements due to adverse weather conditions.

No-Shows & Late Access

If access to the venue is not available during the agreed setup time, we reserve the right to cancel delivery and collection.

In such cases, the booking will be considered a no-show, and no refunds will be issued.
Event Confirmation & Setup

You will receive an email 10 days prior to your event confirming delivery and collection times.
-
We aim to complete all setups by 4pm, unless otherwise agreed.
-
While every effort is made to arrive on time, delays may occur due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen circumstances.
-
Delays do not qualify for refunds or partial refunds, and the full hire will still be provided where possible.
Venue Requirements & Access
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure:

Clear and safe access to the setup area
-
Adequate space for picnic tables to be placed safely
-
Ground is level and suitable for picnic table placement
-
Parking is available close to the venue for loading and unloading
-
Any congestion charges or parking fees are paid by the client on the day
If the venue address, access, or event timing changes, you must notify us as early as possible. Availability is not guaranteed for changes, and additional charges may apply.
Weather & Outdoor Use

Picnic tables are designed for outdoor use.
-
In the event of poor weather (including rain, high winds, or extreme conditions), no refunds will be issued.
-
We strongly recommend having a weather contingency plan (e.g. gazebo or sheltered area).
-
Decisions to proceed in adverse weather remain the responsibility of the client.
Safety & Usage
-
Picnic tables must be used for their intended purpose only.
-
Tables must not be stood on, jumped on, or moved once positioned.
-
Smoking and vaping are not permitted on or directly around the equipment.
-
Pets should be kept away from picnic tables where food is being served.
-
My Perfect Parties is not responsible for injuries resulting from misuse of the equipment.
Client Conduct
-
Clients and guests must treat our staff and equipment with respect.
-
My Perfect Parties reserves the right to cease services and leave the venue if staff experience abusive, aggressive, or unsafe behaviour.
-
No refunds will be issued in such circumstances.
Noise & Neighbour Consideration
-
Clients are responsible for ensuring their event complies with local noise regulations.
-
Please be considerate of neighbours and surrounding properties at all times.
Damages & Liability
-
The client is responsible for any loss, damage, or excessive cleaning required to the equipment during the hire period.
-
Charges for damage must be paid upon collection via BACS or Apple Pay.
-
Equipment must be returned in the same condition it was delivered.
-
My Perfect Parties accepts no liability for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of enjoyment or inconvenience.
Force Majeure
My Perfect Parties shall not be held liable for failure or delay in providing services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to extreme weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, or emergencies.
Where possible, we will offer a rescheduled date.
Insurance
My Perfect Parties holds public liability insurance up to £10 million, providing cover for your event.
Photography & Social Media

We may take photographs or videos of the setup for use on our website and social media.

If you do not wish for photographs to be taken, please notify us in writing prior to the event at:

Data Protection

Personal data collected during the booking process is handled in accordance with GDPR regulations.
